Marketing Assistance

I. Marketing Support Program

STL's Marketing Support Program awards marketing funds to airlines that initiate or add service at STL. Funding is also made available to eligible vacation packagers that offer regularly scheduled service on at least a seasonal basis.

These funds, which must be spent solely on the promotion of each air carrier/packager’s STL service, can be spent on a wide variety of media, including but not limited to, the following:

  • Television, radio or print advertising
  • Billboard signage
  • Sports team or event sponsorships
  • Internet advertising (banner ads, social media campaigns, etc.)

II. Air Service Partnership Program

The Air Service Partnership Program strives to increase public awareness of Essential Air Service (EAS) flights in the communities in which EAS to STL is offered. Each airport with EAS service to STL is annually awarded marketing funds for the promotion of its commercial air service to STL within its community.

These funds, which must be spent solely on the promotion of each airport’s STL service, can be spent on a wide variety of media, including but not limited to, the following:

  • Television, radio, or print advertising
  • Billboard Signage
  • Sports team or event sponsorships
  • Internet advertising (banner ads, social media campaigns, etc.)

III. Local Radio Program

Each year, as part of an ongoing partnership with Clear Channel Radio in Saint Louis, STL offers $100,000.00 in local Clear Channel radio time to eligible airlines for the promotion of their STL service in the Saint Louis market. Funding is also made available to eligible vacation packagers that offer regularly scheduled STL service on at least a seasonal basis.

IV. Take Off and Travel Program

This program highlights the ease of traveling via STL, to leisure destinations in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

V. Marketing Events

Each year STL holds marketing events to highlight the opportunities that exist in corporate and leisure travel sales.

STL also holds annual Air Service Partnership and Take Off and Travel events.
